The piano practice app
Problem
My 5 year old wanted to take piano lessons but convincing her to practice each week was torture for both of us.
What I built
A sticker-collection app to incentivize my daughter to practice piano by giving her half a sticker each time she pressed a rainbow 'Yay!' button, and a bonus sticker and confetti when she pressed the 'I did it!' button at the end of the practice. She loved it and started practicing every day!
What's next
Now I'm working on something similar to get her to do her ONE daily chore which is to put away the clean cutlery every morning.
