What we collect

When you submit a form on buildfirst.ai (an inquiry, a booking request, a waitlist signup, or workshop pre-work), we collect the information you provide: typically your name, email address, company, and whatever you write in the message fields.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site in aggregate (pages visited, rough location, device type). This data is not tied to your form submissions.

How we use it

Form submissions go to our customer relationship system and generate an email notification to us (and usually a confirmation to you). We use this information to respond to your inquiry, prepare for workshops you've signed up for, and follow up about services you've expressed interest in.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Who processes it for us

Like most small businesses, we rely on service providers to run our tools: our website is hosted on Vercel, form data is stored in our own operations system (built on Supabase), emails are sent via Resend, analytics run on Google Analytics, and payments (for paid events) are processed by Stripe. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to measure site usage. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email bethany@buildfirst.ai and we'll take care of it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the business evolves. The 'last updated' date above always reflects the current version. Questions? bethany@buildfirst.ai.

Using this site

buildfirst.ai is the marketing and information site for Build First. By using it you agree to these terms. Please only submit accurate information through our forms, and don't attempt to disrupt or misuse the site.

Our content

The content on this site, including the Build First name, logo, visual identity, and educational materials, belongs to Build First unless otherwise noted. The POP-IT framework was established in partnership with Decoded Futures. You're welcome to share links to our pages; please don't republish our content as your own.

Services and engagements

Descriptions of workshops, Studio Builds, and other offerings on this site are informational. Actual client engagements are governed by separate written agreements (such as a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work), which take precedence over anything on this site.

Event registrations, including any payments processed through Stripe, are subject to the terms presented at registration.

Testimonials and examples

Testimonials and build stories on this site are from real clients and participants, shared with their permission. Individual results vary, what a team builds in a session depends on the team.

No warranties

This site is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We may change, move, or remove content at any time. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
